The greatest obstacle blocking high-performing professionals isn't external challenges.

It's the lack of a structured framework for developing true grit. Without this framework, even the most talented leaders crumble under pressure when it matters most.

âś“ You lie awake at night, exhausted but unable to quiet your racing mind, wondering if you have what it takes to lead through the next crisis.

âś“ You feel increasingly reactive rather than strategic, making decisions from a place of depletion instead of clarity.

âś“ You've lost sight of what matters most as competing demands pull you in countless directions.

âś“ Your team looks to you for inspiration, but you're barely holding it together yourself.

âś“ The strategies that worked before aren't working now, leaving you questioning your capabilities.

âś“ You worry that admitting struggle means admitting weakness, so you soldier on alone, growing more isolated.

âś“ The gap between your public leadership persona and your private doubts widens daily.

Leading with Grit

As one of the first women to fly Apache helicopters in the U.S. Army, I learned early that grit isn't optional. What I've learned since, writing The Grit Factor and working with leaders, is that grit isn't about grinding harder. It's about going deeper. And it can be taught, practiced and built.

That's why I developed The Grit Triad™: Commit, Learn, Launch. It helps leaders meet challenge by drawing on their past experiences, present capabilities and future vision. Leading with Grit turns those lessons into practical steps you can use right away.
